Weddings

We specialise in hosting your special wedding. We ensure your ideas and visions are realised, leaving you with a piece-of-mind to enjoy this precious moment!

Anderland offers the following services for your wedding:

  • The planning and coordinating of your wedding.
  • Easy access via tarred roads to the venue.
  • Unique chapel with wooden pews with a wooden ceiling and chandeliers.
  • Courtyard with a fountain where cocktails can be served after the service.
  • A fully licensed bar.
  • Use of all our available decor, tables and chairs.
  • Dressing facilities for the bride and groom.
  • Accommodation for up to 24 guests. 
  • A separate buffet area with a heart.
  • A reception hall with two hearths, which can accommodate 200 guests and a dance floor.
  • Neat, clean toilet facilities, which are cleaned regularly during the duration of the wedding/function.
  • Beautiful gardens with a natural brook and enormous trees, ideal for photography.
  • Only one wedding is held per day to ensure professional and personal service.

Accommodation

Anderland – De Oude Melkstal is set on a lovely farm, nestled on the banks of the Mooi River in Potchefstroom. With an abundance of hiking trails, national monuments, animal parks, historic museums, natural parks, and host of the annual Aardklop Festival, Potchefstroom has plenty to keep visitors busy all year round. We offers accommodation in a choice of seven en-suite units and a honeymoon suite.  The honeymoon suite contains a double bed while the other units are all furnished with twin single beds.

All units include air-conditioning, mini fridges, tea- and coffee-making facilities and towels. Secure parking is provided on the property. We also offer two self-catering units. Our two units are conveniently located less than 1 km from the Anderland venue. Each unit comfortably accommodates up to four adults and is fully equipped with a kitchen, cozy lounge, and all the essentials needed for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Set on the farm, the units offer a peaceful countryside escape away from the city noise, allowing guests to unwind in nature.

Catering & Bar

At Anderland we do our own catering for canape’s and buffet. 

Please feel free to request our packages via email. 

Our packages offer a variety of canape platters, buffet and dessert options.

 

We have a fully licensed bar on-site with friendly staff who is always ready to help. 

Customized bar services can be arranged should you have specific requirements such as an ‘only juice policy’ or if you want an additional gin table, etc. 

All liquor, wine on tables, and champagne arrangements are done through the Anderland Bar Services. 

You are also welcome to bring your own barista, should you prefer.

Decor & Flowers

The floral and décor detail, narrates the tone of each wedding uniquely.

With a list of experienced service providers, we will gladly refer you to exceptional hands in the industry.

 

We only offer basic decor such as wooden tables, 

plastic chairs with white chair covers, round tables with white tablecloths, silver cutlery, white crockery, basic glassware, 

cream/white serviettes, silver/brown underplates, silver candlesticks, flower holders, 

confetti bowls, easels, silver cake stand with knife and spatula.
